TRADE RELATIONS. B.v Telegraph.— i'rc»B Association —Copyright. BRISBANE, 9th July. By the Manuka there arrived Air. Beddce, Canadian Trade Commissioner to New Zealand. In an interview, Mr. Beddoe said he hoped to extend the relations between the two countries. Ho was convinced that a large trade could be developed, especially m frozen mutton. Canada was extremely anxious to promote closer relations. Mr. Beddoe did not regard the drought in Canada very seriously, as it only affected a portion of the country.
