St. Aloysius, Duppa-street. Junior Grade : V.M.C.A. A v. Boys' Institute A, Kelburns Park} Northland v. Vivians, Kelburne Park; V.M.C.A. B v. Boys' Institute B, Newtown Park rise ;' Roseneath v. St. Aloysius, Duppa-street. ' The following team will represent V.M.C.A. in Boys' League cricket on Saturday : — Senior B v. Institute, at Newtown Park, No. 2 — Richardson, Evans, Van Sclater, Ford, Mardon, Chartres, Shorney, Heley, Mansfield, and O'Donahoo. Junior A v. Institute A, at Kelburne- Park: Adair, Bates, Tullet, Jones, Baker, Aamodt, Aickin, Temperton, , Houghton, Henderson, Worth, Hewitt. Junior B v. Institute B, at Newtown Park : Home, Mudie, M'Girr (2), Gibbons, Morrison, Fiebig, Wood, Warwick, Matson, and Bell. The team leaves Sydney on sth February i and plays Wellington on 11th, 12th, and 14th February; Auckland, 18th, 19th, and 21st February ; Canterbury, 25th, 26th, and 28th February; Otago, sth, 7th, and Bth March ; first test match (Christchurch), on 11th, 12th, and 14th March ; Manawatu (at Palmerston), 16th. and 17th March; Wariganui, 18th and 19th March; Taranaki, 22»d and 23rd March ; second test, 26th, 28th, and 29th March ; Hawkes Bay, Ist, 2nd, and 4th April; and leaves Wellington on Bth April.
After a two days' exhibition the flower Show in connection with St. Ihomas's parish, Newtown, was closed last night, when a large number ol per- »«« found much to admire in the floral decorations.
