ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
[BI TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] HAMILTON, This Day. Kate Lenihan, aged sixteen years, died in the District Hospital early this morning — it is supposed through eating match-heads. An inquest will be held. WAIROA, This Day. The police received information this morning that a girl named Silk, four years of age, a half-caste, was drowned in the Waiau River last Tuesday. As the natives kept the matter quiet so long, a doctor is being sent out with the police, and an inquest will be held.
