NAVAL LOAN BILL.
AUSTRALIAN UNIT. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. MELBOURNE, 3rd December. The House of Representatives has passed the Naval Loan Bill, which deals with the financing of the Australian naval unit. The House amended the Bill by reducing the rate of interest from 3£ to 3 per cent., and fixed the period of redemption at twenty years. Five per cent, of the total loan will be paid into the sinking fund.
