Mails for Nine close at Auckland, on Wednesday,, 3rd November, at 3.45 p.m. The> next best despatch for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe will be via Brindisi, closing at Wellington, per Manuka, on Friday, sth November, at 2.30 p.m. . The next best despatch for Canada and United States of America will be via Vancouver, closing at Wellington, on Tuesday, 2Srd November, per Main Trunk train, at 10.45 a.m.; Chief Post -Office, 11 a.m.; mail van, 11.45 a.m. Mails for Auckland will close at the Chief Post Office daily, via Manawatu and Main Trunk lines, at 10.45 a.m.; late fee 11 a.m.; mail van, 11.45 a.m. The Parcel-post branch of the Chief Post Office, Wellington, has been removed from St. ' George's Buildings, Brandon-street, to the building known as the Dnllshed, Magirnitystreet. Parcels should be deposited at and taken delivery of at the Drillshed. ! Money orders for abroad must be obtained two hours before the advertised time of closing mails, with the exception of those despatched overland via Auckland, when the latest time for obtaining money-orders is 0.15 a.m. All books and sample packets and news.papers for places within the Dominion must, "be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter mail closes.
