THE ESTIMATES.

REDUCED EXPENDITURE SANCTIONED. The estimates for the financial year commenced lbt April last, which were submitted to the council, provide for a touil of £36,000 expenditure on roads, being a reduction of £5000 on the amount originally suggested.
