WELLINGTON KENNEL CLUB.
There were .seventeen members dmsent at the annual meeting of the Wellington Kennel Club. Mr. W. Janson presided. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. The following officers were elected : — President, Mr. Hunter ; vice-presidents, previous list re-elected, together with Dr. Boyd, Messrs. F. U. Bolton, F. M. B Fisher, M.P., John Rod, James Rod, and C. J. Salter ; executive vice-presi-dents, Messrs. P. H. Smith and William Janson ; committee, Messrs. Percy H. Smith, A. Hobday, junr., W. Rogers, E. Bernasconi, Alex. M. Simpson, James Kennedy, William Janson, F. Clarke, A, W. Rowlands, and W. Talbut ; hon. veterinarian, W. 0. Quinnell, M.R.C.V.S. j lion, treasurer, Mr. P. H. Smith ; hon. secretary, Mr. H. E. Dovey ; hon. Audi tor, Mr. A. W. J. Cook ; Melbourne representative, Mrs. K. M. Soilleux ; Syd ney representative, Mr. J. M'lntosk. Twenty-six new members were elected. It wa.s s-tated th-it the New Zealand Kennel Club had granted challenge certificates to the club for their next annual show in tiie following classes : — Pointers, rough-coated collies, English setters, borzoi?, Irish terriers. , Mr. Paul Hunter whs elected a lite member oi the institution.
