Haldanc, Secretary for Wit, replying in tho House of Commons to a question by Mr. Henniker-Heaton, said it was impossible to alter the date fo:tendeis of preserved meats for the army in ths present case, but in futuro every endeavour would hs made to meat, the convenience of the Australian market if possible.
