STEAMER ASHORE.
LIKELY TO BE A TOTAL WRECK. By Telegraph. — Press Association. — Gopvright. SYDNEY, 19th July. The steamor Fido, 1443 tons, Captain Larsen, bound from Ocean Island to Sydney with a cargo of phosphates, went ashore last night on a reel outside Cargo Island, near Tweed Heads (430 miles north of Sydney). , The crow and two passengers landed safely this morning. The latest report is that the Fido is hard and fast and full of water. Tho oca ia breaking over her, and it is likely she will become a total wreck.
