THE SEDDON MEMORIAL.

TO TUE EDITOH. Sir, — As one who contributed a email amount (It) to tho funds raised by the Bes=os o' lh' Barn Band fund in their concert nt Christchurch iv and of the Scddon memorial, might I ask Mr. T. W. Hislop on what "tspocifio object" the money bo raised was to be expended? When I attended (as I am sure hundreds of others did) I thought, besides listening to a musical treat, 1 was contributing towards a national memorial. Will Mr. Hislop bo moro "specific" and slate what special object the annount was raised for? I think it is due to thoso who contributed. — 1 am, etc., DINKUM.
