Tho annual general meeting of tho V.M.C.A. Football Club (Association) wns held in tho rooms on Tuesday ovening, Mr. 11. N. Holmes (General Secretary) in tho chair. The .eport and balnnccsheot won- adopted, tho latter showing a substantial credit balance Officers for the ensuing year wero elected ns follows :— President, Mr. J. C. W. Aitken, M.H.R. ; Vico-I'resiclents, Messrs. Korsley, Uakcr, A. Hoby, AY. J. Forkins, Dr. Chnpplo, and tho Rev. J. J. North ; lion. Secretary, Mr. H. 11. Tnrnbull ; Hon. Treasurer, Mr. F. O'Conncll ; Committee, Messrs. J. W. Wilson, A. MackJij), F. Aircy, G. Dawson, and G. Ariuir, and tho ofTirors ex ofllcio; Club Captain, Mr. W. J. Ferkins; Dologato to Wellington Football Association, Mr. 11. U. Turnbull ; auditors, Mossrs. 11. Archer and Larking. The club has oxccllont prospects for tho ensuing year. Thirteon new members wero elected. It was decided to again ontor one team for the Sonior Cup, and two for tho Junior. Tho first practice will tako place at Miramar on Saturday noxt. Tho annual meeting of tho Southern Football Club was hold in St. Thomas' Schoolroom last night, sixty members being present. Mr. J. P, tuko occupied tho chair. Tho report nnd balance-sheet for tho season 1904 was adopted. Mr. Luko congratulated tho club on its past season's performance, and also upon its much improved financial position, romarKtitg Hint tho club ha<] always avoided tho burden of debt, and this year hnd mndo a firmer stand than previously.
