It is almost safe to prophecy a very large attendance at the Opera House tonight. Playgoers have been reading and hearing such eulogistic accounts of tho merits of Mr. Stephenson's new company that its advent here has 1 been awaited with special interest. "The Rose of Riviera," with which the season will be inaugurated to-night, is a modern musical comedy, written for amusement purposes only.
