rPBBBS ASSOCIATION.^ (Received October 21 f j 10.35 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. ' The Mount Lyell returns from 15th September to 12th October show that 34,165 tons of ore, together with 1087 tons of purchased ore, were treated. The converters' produced 552 tons blister copperj containing copper 545 tons, silver 49,816 oz, and gold 1870oz. The shortage *of metals was due to the stoppage bf converters during a period. AUCKLAND, This Day. During the month ending Bth October the Komata Reefs Gold-mining Company treated 1200 tons of ore for bullion valued at £3070.
