Reuter's correspondent at Capetown states that Qeneral Botha is prepared to re-open negotiations for peace on behalf of the entire Boer forces. His recent visit to Heilbron is reported to have convinced Botha that General De Wet is mentally irresponsible, and his influence is diminishing. Mr. Bennet Burleigh, correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, reports that it is semi-officially stated at Capetown that General Botha has - had a further interview with Lord Kitchener. (Received April 12, 9.21 a.m.) LONDON, 11th April. The Times points out that in view of the further defeats suffered by the Boer forces, General Botha cannot expect to be offered the terms he recently refused.
