, [BY TELEGRAPH — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PALMERSTON N., This Day. At a concert given last night in aid of the ambulance fund there was a largo attendance. Mr. Fred Pirani, M.H.R., presented certificates of the St. John Ambulance Association to mejnbers of the local corps, sixteen of whom passed out of nineteen examined. Presentations were also made to Mr. Muggridge and Dr. Campbell, instructors of the class. The sick and funera.l fund of the local Oddfellows' Lodge, Manchester Unity, has reached a total of £1278, Mr. Scheldt's shop at Bunnythorpe was broken into, on Wednesday night, and several gold watches were stolen. The, police have arrested two men at WoodviUe on, suspicion of being concerned in the robbery.
