[press association.] LONDON, 11th April. A member of tho Sixth New South Wales Contingent, which recently arrived at Capetown, has contracted plague. THE MORTALITY AT CAPETOWN. Xprkss association.] SYDNEY Jllth April. The Prince, of Wales Hotel at Nowra was destroyed by firo. Two men named Wilford, father and son, perished in the flames. Another person broke a leg jumping from the balcony. Several of the inmates had narrow escapes, only getting out of the burning building in their night clothes.
