IN ORANGE RIVER COLONY.
THE BRITISH RE-OCCUPY PHILIPPOLIS. LONDON, 12th November. After four hours' fighting, the British troops re-occupied Philippolis, twentyfive miles north-west of Norval's Pont, on the Orange River. They subsequently badly repulsed a Boer attempt to re-seize the town.
