IN THE EASTERN TRANSVAAL

TWO BOER LL-xDERS KILLED. LONDON, 12th November. General Fourie and Commandant Prinsloo (ono of several Boer leaders of that name) were killed, and General Grobelaar, of Stormberg fame, was wounded during the recent fighting in the Eastern Transvaal. A body of Kitchener's Hussars made a moonlight charge at a Boer force near Middleburg, on the Delagoa Bay railway, and sabred many. Next day the British, having been reinforced, routed the enemy.
