The Disc consists of ring aud brass holder complete, roady for use, and can bo put inl.o the valvo by simply removing tho bonnet, slipping tho old disc from end of spindle, substituting new one, and replacing bonnet ; tho whole operation requiring only a few moments' time and no skill. These Valvea havo a raised round seat upon which scale, grit, or sediment is less likely to lodge than on the broad, 'flat seats commonly used. The Stuffing Boxes aro all packed with Braided Round Asbesto* Packing, which is very durablo, and cannot be blown or washed out.
