Shorthorn cattle weiu in demand, but no horses were sold, and only a' few. sheep. A Southdown ram, Chichester King 20th (imported) sold for 80gs, and an imported English Leicester ram brought 20gs. 'Hie Shorthorn bull, Knight of Roses, t;old for oOgs, and Superior 2nd, a bull of the samo breed, was bought for the Agricultural Department for 20gs. The Shorthorn bull Milburn "Hero brought 18gs, and Mr. Russell's Hero sold' for 31gs.
