A TELE GRAPE OPERATOR'S DILEMMA.
«> (From the Rockhampton Bulletin.) Mr. S. M'Cullagh, a telegraph operator, widely known and respected, and residing at Talford-street, Rockhampton (Q.), has (says the Rockhampton Bulletin) bpen placed in a peeuliur dilemma which arose in this way. Mr. M'Cullagh has a daughter, Vera, 5 years old. Some time ago she became sick, lost her appetite, and, fell oif in flesh. Her father took her to a doctor, and she was under his care off and on for 15 months, but she did not recover. Then another doctor treated ' hor, but she obtained only temporary relief. She could not sleep, and became so weak that she had ,to be carriod about, not being even able to put her feet to the floor. She appeared to be dying, and M'Cullagh was in a dilemma as to what !to do. Then he noticed an adverlise- ! ment in the Bulletin (Concerning Dr. Williams' pink pills. He bought a box , for her and gave her hulf a pill after each meal. Three days later her appetite improved. Her mother continued giving her the pills each day, and after giving her 3£ boxes was able to discontinue them. Now Vera is a picture of ro?y ■ blooming health. Mrs. M'Cullogh says — " She eats things she would not touch before, ,and is still getting fat. She sleeps soundly and runs and plays about just Uke. other children, so we cannot praisfe Dr. Williams' pink , pills too much." As a strengthening medicine for children Dr. Williams' pink pills have no equal. Scrofula, rickets, swollen glands, St. Vitus' dance, disease of the bones, gradual decline, etc., "can be cured by their use. Children from 4 to 6 should have half of a pill after each meal, and from 6to 12 one ,h«lf-pill. The pills can be cut with a penknife. Dr. Williams' pink pills have cured thousands of adults of rheumatism, neuralgia, sciatica, lumbago, consumption, bronchitis, skin disorders, ladies' ailments, etc. Sold by chemists and storekeepers, • and by the Dr. Williams' Medicine Co., Wellington, three shillings per box, sixboxes sixteen and six, post free.
