DEATH OF COMMANDANT DE VILLIERS. LONDON, 25th October.

Commandant de Villiers, a noted Free Stater, has died of wounds received some months ago in th,e fighting near Ladybrand. [Commandant de Villiers was reported to have surrendered to Lieut. -General Rundle on 30th July, near Fourisburg, but no mention was then made of his being wounded. De Villiers, however, is not. an uncommon name among the Boers,' and there may be more than one bf them a commandant.]
