The balance-sheet of the Wellington Racing Club for the year ended 31sb August has been circulated. The expenditure- for the year totalled £14,677 0s 4d, while the receipts, including the balance carried over from the previous year, was £1,164 14s 6d less. The amount paid in stakes totalled £9614, and palaries £445. The totalisalor receipts amounted to £6478 12s. Entries xj u (b7 10s, and members' .subscriptions £225 15s. The assets of the club are valued at £5989, and the liabilities amount to £1643 12s 6d.
