THE OTAKI ELECTION.
Mr. C. B. Morison was nominated for the Otaki seat by Messrs. F. Bills and W. H. Simcox, of Otaki; William Edward Welch. Waiwetu; James Prouse, Peter Stewart, and Henry Hubert Ostler, of Levin. The nominators of Mr. W. H. Field were Messrs. George Brown, Upper Hutt ; James Silvester, Levin; Joseph D'Ath and William John Warn, of Otaki ; William Mackay, Paikakariki, James Hehir and William Howell, Paraparaumu ; William Jillett, George Stevens, Joshua Dixon, and Duucan Campbell, Porirua; Eli Allen, Tawa Flat. Mr. Field spoke at Pahautanui on Saturday night and received a vote of tlianks and confidence. He is to give two addresses to-night — one at tho Taita at 7 o'clock, and the other at the Oddfellows' Hull/at Lower Hutt at 8 o'clock. Mr. Morison addressed meeting at Pahautanui and Ohau, on Fiiday and Saturday nights, and on each occasion he received a vote of thanks. He will apeak at Otaki lo«night«
