WINSTON CHURCHILL SAFE.
1> URBAN, 23rd December. Lieut. Winston Churchill, a correspondent for the Morning Post, who was captured on the 15th November during an armoured train engagement at Chievelfyj in Natal, has arrived safely at Delagoa Bay. He recently escaped from custody and was caught by the Boers, but a second attempt to regain freedom was mors successful. An order from General Joubert direcfcjng the release of the pressman, who prior to his capture had shown great bravery under fire, was received by his captors the morning after his escape. (Received December 27, 9.30 a.m.) DURBAN, 26th December. The Boers assert that Lieut. Churchill made his escape in the disguise of a woman,
