NOTABLE RECRUITS FOR THE IMPERIAL YEOMANRY. LONDON'S NEW BRIGADE. LONDON, 24th December. Lord Chesham, who is* organising a force of Yeomanry, has now enrolled eight thousand. Several Peers are joining as privates. ' « The Earls of Lonsdale, k Dudley, Warwick, and Hacldington, Lord Harris, the famous cricketer and ex-Governor of Bombay, and Lord, Victor Cavendish, heir of the Duke of Devonshire, have volunteered for service in the Imperial Yeomanry. LONDON, 25th December. The sum of £70,000 has been subscribed to equip the Lord Mayor's volunteer brigade. Colonel Mackinnon will be in command. LONDON, 26th December." A sum of £20,000 has been raised in Northumberland to assist the Yeomanry Cavalry. Yorkshire is raising £50,000 for a similar purpose. Mr. Walter Rothschild, one of the great firm of bankers, has volunteered for active service at the Cape. The remaining hundred of the railway reservists and skilled railroad workers and repairers has been ordered from Crewe, the great railway mechanical centre in Cheshire. Four hundred and thirty of their fellows are already at the front. (Received December 27, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 26th December. The Hon. Thos. Brassey, eldest son of Lord/ Brassey, the retiring Governor of Victoria, has volunteered for service in South Africa.
