MELBOURNE, 12th December. The Argus in commenting editorially upon, tho result of tha elections in New Zealand, says that Mr. Seddon is secure for another three years' tenure of office. Some of the legislation which was once bitterly criticised has, it is pointed out, been justified by experience. - CHRISTCHURCH, 12th December. It will probably be two or three days before the result of the Riccarton election y is officially announced. NAPIER, 12th December. The official recount gives Mr. Fraser a majority of 38, an increase of 2. A comparison of the rolh disclosed 18 instances of dual voting.
