NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Mooting of tho Council hold on tho 22nd day of Juuo, 1899, the undermentioned resolutions woro carried: — That tho Council of tko Borough of Oiulow do horoby (by way of Special Loan) establish a Sinking Fund of £26 por annum during tho currency of tho Special Loan of £2600 upon tho proposal to raise which a poll of tho Burgoßsos was taken on tho 18th day of April, 1899, such Sinking Fund .to he applied for or towards repayment of such loan at its maturity And tho said Council doth hereby appoint tho Public Trustee to txvtho Commissioner of the said Sinking Fund. And for tho purposo of providing the 'said Sinking Fund and tho Interest on tho said loan tho said Council doth hereby make, strike, and levy a Special Rato of 3-16ths of a penny in tho pound storling (capital basis) on tho ralablo value of all ratable proporty within tho said Borough. Such Special Rate to be an annually recurring rato leviable year by yoar commencing aa on and from tho Ist day of October, 1899, and continuing thereafter from yeai to yonr until tho said loan of £2600 and «v*ry part thereof i» paid off, and to be payable by equal hulf-yonrly instalments on the Ist day of April and tho Ist day of Oetobor in overy yoar, and that this resolution nhall tnko effect immediately on the passing and confirmation thoroof at) a spocinl order.
