WEDNESDAY POPS.

Tho full programme of the Wednesday popular concert appears' in another column, and being such as ought to please all classes of concert-goeis, it should be the means of packing the Skating Rink to-morrow night. The big event of the evening is the minstrel performance to be given by the clever band of local amateurs who so pleased a large audience at the Exchange Hall about two years ago. Some of the best amateurs in Wellington are members of this company. Mr. Fred Elton,

a comedian of some repute, who is passing through Wellington en route for Sydney under engagement to Mr. Harry Riokards, has been specially engaged. Some of the other artists who will assist are Miss Woodward (who made a great hit at one of the previous concerts), Mr. Sydney Dyer, and Mr. T. M. Wilford, vocalists; and Mr. Gil. P. Hoskins, a clever lightning artist.
