At the last University Examinations fourteen pupils the Matriculation Kxamination, alf of them qualifying also for the Solicitors' " General Knowledge Pass ; three obtained high places in the "Credit" list in the Junior University Scholarship Examination, and one kept the first year's terms of her University course. Six pupils qualified for a " Partial D " Teachers' Certificate. Seven passed the Junior Civil Service, and two the Senior Civil Service Kxamination, one of whom passed "with distinction," coming first in the whole colony. The Governors offer annually two Junior Scholarships, open to girls under 14 years of age, and four Senior Scholarships, to Pupile attending the School. These entitle the winners to free education at the Hii?h School for two years. In accordance with a resolution passed by tho Board last year, a reduction is made on the fees for three or more pupils from the same family attending either the College or the High School. CHAS. P.
