There were twenty starters for the Cambridgeshire, Galtee Moore, the winner of the chief three-year-old events, being favourite at 9to 2. Juliatau was at 6to 1, Maluma al 100 to 6, and Cotnfrey (the winner) at 100 to 4. Maluma ran well, and finished sixth. Galtee More was tenth. Comfrey only beat St. Cloud 11. by a head. The first five to finish were three-year-olds. Galtee Moore won the Sandown Foal Stakes of 2000 soys on the 21st October.
