A certain noble lord, who shall be nameless, during his journey North on a political mission, changed his costume in the train for a full Highland • rigout,' intending 'it as a delicate compliment to the land of the kilt. But when he looked in the glass he found that the tailor had out his kilt a little too short ; so he made up his mind to put on evening dross.
