AN OLD WOMAN BURNED TO DEATH. '

* [BY TBLEGBAPH— PBEBB ASSOCIATION.] Oamabu, 10th December. A fire occurred last night by which one of the Benevolent Society's cottages was totally destroyed. There was no water near the place, and tbe firo had to burn itself out. One of the occupants of the cottage, Mrs. Quigley, was burned to death. The charred body was found near the door, which deceased had been endeavouring to reach. She was a very old woman. An inquest was held, at which a verdict of Accidentally Burned to Death was returned.
