(Received December 11, 10.12 a.m.) Sydney, This Day. Heavy rain set in through the night, and looks like continuing all day. It is hardly likely that the match will be started. (Received December 11, 2 p.m.) Sydney, This Day The match has been postponed until Monda}'.
Much disappointment has been caused in newspaper circles at the lack of courtesy shown by the Crioket Asiociation in not allotting a wicket on the Basin Reserve for the annual match between the staffs of the Evening Post and New Zealand Times. The Association has for years made this small return for the large amount of space given by the press to local matches, and the fixture is always looked forward to with interest.
