Moffatt (four wickets for _ 33), and Bourke (one for 13) bowled best for the Railways. The match Midland third v. Karori was J won by Karori by 52 runs. The scores were —Karori, 70 and 139 , Midland, 81 and 76. The highest scorers were — For Karori, Lowe, 33 and 37 ; for Midland, latta, 27 and 19 ; Steele, 11 and 17 ; Parker, 20 and 14. 1 St. Peter's Choir beat St. Paul's by an innings and. 18 runs. For the winners, y Cope (49 not out) and Meacham (53) scored best; and Churchward (St. Peter's) took jj nine wiokets for 6 runs. ? The Clyde-quay School defeated New- r town by sih innings and 64 runs, For the n winners, Williams made 24, Hutchings 21, v Luke 15. Leggett took five wiokets for 12 B runs. t In the Junior Cricket Association match the Vivians defeated Kilbirnie by 174 runs. . Kilbirnie, batting first, made 30. The * Vivians responded with 204 (Wilson, 41 ; 1 H Davis, 39; It. Davis, 38; Quee, 83; f Deslandes, 10, not out). Fraser and Davis 1 for the winners, and King and Gaul bowled with effectiveness. ,
