MR. DA VITT'S TOUR. [BY TELEGRAPH-PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Reefton, This Day.

Mr. Michael Dayitt, M.P., arrived here last evening by train from Greymouth, and lectured in the Theatre Royal on the Laboni movement in England. Despite the indement weather, there was a large attendance. Mr. O'Regan, M H.R., presided. Mr. Davittwas given an excellent reooption. He left by the mail ooaoh this morning for Westport, where he speaks to-night, and he will leave about midnight by the Mawhera for Wellington. The Heception Committee meets at St. Patrick's Hall at 7 o'clock this evening. Mr. Davitt having promised to speak at Napier on Monday night, provided he oonld get to Auokland by Wednesday night, Meaara. Crowther and Maoaulay, the Taupo coach proprietors, have guaranteed to get him through in that time. Mr. Davitt expressed his willingness to travel night and day continuously to aooomplisfa tbe feat. The journey from Napier to Kotorua ordinarily ooonpies three days, a fourth day being required for the train journey. Mr. DaviDt, who is to leave Napier early on Tuesday morning, mnsf therefore be taken the first three days' journey in one.
