CORRESPONDENCE.
Both "Pukaki" and "Conviva" write kindly and encouraging words of sympathy to "Touchstone," and congratulate him on the success of the P.O. They also congratulate all other prize-winners. "Checkmate." — I will send you some stamps soon. Why not put a half -penny stamp, and do not close your envelope ? But if you write a letter you must put a twopenny stamp on. I am very glad you got a prize : you deserve it. "[Dorothy." — Your poem is good. Various. Good puzzles from " Gem " and " Checkmate " — thanks. Will intending competitors send in their names to " Touchstone " at once, so that the next quarterly competition can be announced P I hope, besides all my old trusty competitors, "Adam," "Gem," "Zoe," "Leidfin," "Alice," and " Iris " wUI compete. As there is great pressure upon our space, I have to condense the P.C. into one column. In consequence, I may have to give up the Literary Column. At any rate, there will be no L.C. till the start of the Competition. I hope " Pax " wUI compete. I shall be glad to hear from "J.L.M." This week's puzzles are aU "Con viva's," and they do him great credit.
