Dividends, £7 4s and £&. Timaru, 13th September. On the second day of the South Canterbury races, Paramu won the Stewards' Stakes, paying JBIO 9s. The Gladstone Handicap fell to Chaos, the dividend being £1 163. Hags was successful in the Ladies' Bracelet, paying .£3 4s. Gipsy Grand (7st 131b) won the Rhodes Memorial Stakes by a head, with Maremma (7st 71b) second and Barmby (Bst 91b) third. The dividend was £1 9s. Miss Mac appropriated the Members' Plate, paying i 37 sa ; and Vogengang the Consolation Race, paying £2 Is. Commotion won the Trotting iiace, the dividend being .£1 15s.
