Sib— ln reply to your correspondent " Leo," the question of the ereotdon of the shelter sheds, both as to site or design, is. a matter of munioipal politics only, and perfectly open for any ratepayer, or body of ratepayers, in any oapaoity, to express their opinions upon. "Leo" says that they are not open to the prevailing winds The prevailing winds, as all Wellingtonians know only too well, are from north-west to west and south. That is the line of the sheds. Mr. Seddon did not threaten lo cut the Town Belt into terraces. The oik and express drivers have not been left out of the question altogether. He would find upon enquiry thit the men did not want the sheds ; that they were not consulted in the matter, aud will not use them unless compelled to do so. There is another question for the Connoil and Harbour Board to answerHow came they, to spend £2000 upon land before their title was complete, and where nas the money gone ? I am, Ac, John M.
