Tho wet weither on Saturday afternoon was against much bowling being done. At the Wellington Club's green, Russell (12) and M'Kee (22) finished their game for the President's gold medals. M'Koe'a rink now meets Gale, and tho winners play the final heat with Ballinger. The disposition of tho Edwin badires for tho season, so far as clubs are concerned, waa decided at tho Thorndon green, when the Wellington Club team wrested them from the late holders. Tha game and result was as follows :— Thorndon - Exley, Johnston, Mowbiay, and Nairn 'skip), 14; Wellington Club— L. (Blundoll, Churchward Maudeley, and BaUinger (skip), 18. Tho winners are not to be allowed to rest on their laurels, as they were immediately challenged by a team of club-mates, consifting of D. M' Lean, Geddis, J. Lockie, and W. Gray (skip). The game is Bet down for 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The Thorndon green will be closod for the season next week, and a team from the Wellington Club is to be invited to play a game there on Saturday, after which a return game will probably be played on the Wellington Club's green. The final rubber of 3 matobes between the Thorndon and Newtown Clubs was played at the Newtown Green on Saturday resulting in a win for Newtown. That Club having won two out of the three now oarriea off the honours. Saturday's play was as follows : — Newtown — Blyth M'Lean, Richards, Prince (skip), 1G v. Thorndon— Kooh, Turnbull, Falconer, Salmon (skip), 20. Newtown— Sloan, M'Eldowney, Underwood, Danks (skip), 27 v. Thorndon— Archibald, Heywood, M'lntyre, llosa (skip), 15. Nowtown— Alpe, Glass, Morris, Astill (■ kl P)> 11?,',1 I ?,', v. Thorndon-Burns, Jamieson, Wright, Flanagan (skip), 19. Total for Newtown, 61 ; Thorndon, 54 Newtown scored in 32 heads, Thorndon in 31. The following scratch game was also played on the Newtown Green :— Rink No. 2.— Green, Webb, Piloher, Davies (skip), 10 v. Swiney, Anderson, Wilson, Lambert (slap), 25. ! PBSSB ASSOCIATION.
