THE VOLUNTEERS.

The Wellington Navals paraded at the Drillshed last evening for inspection by Lieut.-Col. Newall. There was a fairly large master, under Lients. Bell and Hume.' After the inspection Colonel Newall complimented the men on their appearance. To-morrow week the Company will hold a " social" at the boat station. The Amusement Committee has decided to assist the Municipal Fire Brigade in its " social" in aid of the late Fireman Parsonage. Next Wednesday evening the Company will hold its annual meeting.
