A special meeting of the TaratabiCartertbn Road Board was held on Saturday, when it was resolved to raise a loan of £1000 to repair the damage done by the floods to the bridge at Gladstone and at Kokotan, and to provide protective works. About 100 members, including the band, took part in the church parade of the Carterton Friendly Societies yesterday. They attended service at Srt. Mark's, which was crowded.
