|Bt Tilxgraph. | (Our Own Correspondent. J Masteetok, This Dat. A man named William Thompson, better known as " Yorkey," was fined JEI, or in default 14 days' imprisonment, this morning, for smashing iv the window of the Empire Hotel. Major Elliot, A.D.C. to the Governor, visited Masterton on Saturday. Wm. Thomas Tait was sent to gaol for two months this morning for stealing axes, - Ac, from the station of the Volunteer Fire Brigade. Tait was a member of the brigade. A man named M'lntosh is being charged at Eketahuiia to-day with obtaining money by false prutenoes.
