Bough on the Pigs. —ln Canterbury, whioh is pre-eminently the bacon province of New Zealand, the curing season is now in full swing, and the pigs are having a very rough time of it. Every week Wardell Bros. & Co. receive large consignments of their own Canterbury cure, and the hams and bacon they have now on sale leave nothing to be desired in the way of quality.
