SATURDAY'S FOOTBALL.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib— l regret exceedingly that my letter of 2nd inst. shonld have oaused the impression that the Wellington Football Club was tho one referred to, their oonduot, as far as lam concerned, being beyond reproach. It has been freely admittod by members of tho club to which I refer that suoh behaviour as complained of did occur. Ii it not thereforo to be regretted that the eonduot of a few mombers should sully the olub'B good name P As an aotive member of more than ono athletic olub in this city, it is deoidedly against my grain to have to call attention to the eonduot of any club's members, as waß neooesary on this oooasion. I sincerely trust that this olub will not in the future give oaustt for subsequent reference to a like . matter. I am, &"., PEDIBIBIAS.
