IBy Telegraph., (Our Own Correspondent.) Cartkrton, This Day. Mrs. Freebody, about 60 years of age. died on Thursday night from oonnussion of the brain. She had just gone on a bush seotion in the Wainnioru distriot, and lived in a tent. She tripped and fell on a log. Dr. Johnston certifies as to the cause of death, and no inquest will be held. i united pkbbb abuooiatiom. j Dunedin, This Day. Andrew M'Laren, a butchor at Milton, was found drowned in M'GillV mill-race early this morning. The body of a man, supposed to have been a swagger, has been found in tho Clutha River It has not been identified, and has evidontly been in the river for some timo. Ohristchurcw, This Day. Joseph Ferguson, tram driver, had his right thigh broken and his left foot crushed through his car passing over him to-day.
