At the inquest on the body of William O'Beirne, printer, late of Wellington, who died at the Hospital of phosphorus poisoning, the jury returned a verdict of Suicide while in a state of Temporary Insanity. "DtJNBPIN. THIB DAT. Richard Turner, traveller for Hogg and Howison, died suddenly this morning, aged 43 years. He was a single man, well known throughout Otago and Southland, and Had been suffering from heart disease, for which he had been under treatment for a fortnight.
