The New Zealand Allianco for the Suppression of the Liquor Traffic has issued a manifesto in connection with the approaohing Maroh licensing elections. This manifesto advises the auxiliaries to take no action in respoot to the election of committees, on the ground that the committees are merely regulating and administrative bodies, whilst the Alliance exists for Prohibition purposes only. Advice is given, however, for the taking of the local option polls by the ousting of votes for Prohibition only. This "tickot" will be issued from Auckland to committees in every part of the colony. h
