MAYORALTY NOMINATIONS.
CITY OF WELLINGTON. Nominations for the Mayoralty of Wellington were closed at noon to-day. Only two candidates were proposed, viz. : — Henry Francis Dillon Bell, proposed by David Robertson and Arthur Scoullar : and Charles Frederick Worth, proposed by William Wallis and James Barry. Mr. Ames, Returning Officer, notifies that the poll will be taken at the Exchange Hall on Wednesday, the 25th instant.
