Allen, thanking them for their snpport at the laet eleotion, and regretting that he oannot Btand for the seat in the approaohing contott. Mr. W. H.Herries, of Sha'ftesbury.in the 'Piako d'iatriot,' has been asked to oomo forward for the Te Aroha seat.
